Our mission is to maximize private support for Indiana University. That mission makes us accountable, first, to the donors who provide that support. It makes us accountable to our board of directors, each of whom serves without remuneration and at personal expense. It makes us accountable to the university’s leadership, faculty, staff, and students. In short, we are accountable to all who care about our mission and success.
We make available the following items, many of which you will find on the IU Foundation website.
- Financial audit conducted by our external auditor, Deloitte & Touche LLP
- Annual report of giving
- Report on the cost of fundraising
- Investment performance reports
- Operating budget, including funding sources
- Our investment policies, expenditure guidelines, and policies on disbursement of gift funds
- Contract for service between Indiana University and the Indiana University Foundation
- Policies regarding the establishment of fundraising priorities
