Not all gifts for IU show up in the year-end totals. Many are commitments to give in the future. The most obvious are Annual Fund pledges, but these "promises to give" also include bequests, life insurance, outside trusts, and other planned giving arrangements. This chart reflects the total value of all such gifts where the donor has communicated his or her intentions to give.
