National rankings among colleges and universities are compiled by the Council for Aid to Education and are published annually by The Chronicle of Higher Education. Over the past 18 years, IU has consistently ranked among the top colleges and universities in the nation.
During Fiscal Year 2007, IU ranked 19th among all colleges and universities, 7th among public colleges and universities, and 4th among the Big Ten universities.
