Executive Director for Real Estate

John Wilhite manages real estate that held, as of June 30, 2008, approximate value of $85 million and artwork valued at approximately $3.2 million. He and his staff are responsible for purchasing real estate for IU's eight campuses, managing properties donated to IUF, and receiving and administering gifts-in-kind. Mr. Wilhite is a certified appraiser.

Prior to joining IUF, Mr. Wilhite was an administrator for several retirement communities, including a start-up community in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and held a Comprehensive Health Facility Administrator's license. He has 20 years' experience in the banking industry and was senior vice president and senior loan officer at the National Bank of Greenwood in Indiana.
