Scholarships and Awards

The IU Foundation annually awards a multitude of donor directed scholarships, created by friends of Indiana University who believe in the importance of education and your future, as an IU student. Below are the steps to follow when beginning the IU Foundation Scholarship application process:

Step 1

Before you begin, you must be admitted to an IU campus to apply for any IU Foundation Scholarship. To complete the online application, you must have an official OneStart ID and login. If you do not have an official OneStart ID, please follow this link.

Step 2

The IU Foundation has two ways to apply for scholarships. You are encouraged to complete both options.

  • Option 1
Follow this link to complete the online application through Onestart (Under the Services Tab, click on Student Self Service, link will be under the Financial Header). This will take approximately 15 minutes. By submitting this application you are applying for many of the scholarships the IU Foundation offers. You will be considered for all of the scholarships that your criteria matches. Unless a specific campus is listed, the scholarship is available to all IU campuses. After a successful submission, a message stating that your application was received will show on the screen.
