About the Awards
The IU Foundation Partners in Philanthropy Awards give public recognition to individuals whose philanthropic efforts on behalf of Indiana University have risen beyond the ordinary. The awards are not based simply on giving, but also on an individual’s extraordinary service and volunteerism in philanthropy.
The award recipients are selected by an anonymous committee consisting of IU development representatives from the Bloomington, Indianapolis, and Regional campuses. Each awardee is presented a custom plaque by the IU President at the event. In addition, a video is produced about each awardee’s volunteer commitment to IU, which is premiered during the awards ceremony.
Helpful Hint: If you plan to work on your nomination at multiple sittings, please consider using a Word document and then copy/paste into the online form when your nomination is complete. After the nomination is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a copy of your nomination.
